The choice of location for sweet corn farming and shelled corn farming can also differentiate the income that farmers will get in South Singkawang District. Therefore, this research aims to determine and compare the average income from sweet corn farming and shelled corn farming in South Singkawang District during one planting season (MT). This research method uses quantitative descriptive methods and data is obtained using a questionnaire. Sampling was carried out by purposive sampling (intentionally) then determining the sample using the proportional random sampling method. The number of samples used in sweet corn farming and shelled corn farming was 80 farmers, consisting of 41 sweet corn farmers and 39 shelled corn farmers. The results of this research show that the average production of sweet corn farming is 3,282 kg, which is greater than the production of shelled corn farming, which is 2,738 kg. The average income per hectare of sweet corn farming is Rp. 14,475,122, which is higher than the income of shelled corn farming which is only Rp. 8,746,794.
2024-06-19T10:23:18+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 JURNAL BORNEO AKCAYA https://jurnal-litbang.kalbarprov.go.id/index.php/litbang/article/view/334 Probebaya: Community Synergy in Community Development and Empowerment in Samarinda City 2024-07-23T14:41:33+07:00 Muhammad Sultan muhammadsultan812@gmail.com
Probebaya is a community-based development program initiated by the Samarinda City Government since 2021. Maggot is effective method of managing organic waste and has economic potential as animal feed because of its high protein. The aim of this research to analyze business strategy for maggot production as animal feed in Pontianak City. The research was conducted in North Pontianak using the SWOT analysis research method. The research results show that in the IFAS matrix, maggot businesses have more significant weaknesses than strengths, with value 0.30. In the EFAS matrix, maggot businesses can take advantage opportunities and able to anticipate threats with value 0.22. The SWOT matrix shows that the maggot business in Pontianak City is in quadrant III, namely Weakness-Opportunity, which means that cultivators have great opportunities but face internal obstacles. Development strategies that can be implemented include increasing production innovation and market expansion.
2024-06-19T10:47:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 JURNAL BORNEO AKCAYA https://jurnal-litbang.kalbarprov.go.id/index.php/litbang/article/view/337 Political Problems Of Implementing Proportional Election Systems In Indonesia: From Political Liberalization To Political Party Oligarchies 2024-07-23T14:41:56+07:00 Abd Hannan hannan.taufiqi@gmail.com Munari Kustanto munarikustanto@gmail.com
This study examines the dynamics of implementing the proportional system in Indonesian elections and the political problems arising from doing so. The qualitative approach of the research aims to analyse the application of proportional representation, the role and position of political parties, the electorate and their representatives, and the pattern of relations among these actors. From the political and sociological theory perspective, it is argued that Indonesia has been using proportional representation for its elections since 1955. Both approaches have weaknesses in practice. The weakness of a closed proportional system lies in the dominance of political parties in recruiting and participating in politics, which can lead to oligarchic practices. Political parties exercise considerable power over the selection of nominees. An important issue regarding the closed proportional system is strengthening political liberalisation practices. Overall, the growth of transactional or money politics in party elites and among voters is characteristic of the problem of political liberalisation.
2024-06-19T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 JURNAL BORNEO AKCAYA https://jurnal-litbang.kalbarprov.go.id/index.php/litbang/article/view/360 Implementation Of Presidential Regulation No. 55 Of 2019 On Accelerating The Battery Electric Vehicle Program For Road Transport In Singkawang City 2024-07-23T14:42:11+07:00 Nawang Aviani nawang.aviani@fisip.untan.ac.id
The study aims to analyze Perpers Implementation No. 55 of 2019 on Accelerating the Battery Electric Vehicle Program for Road Transport. The first research activity is soil chemical analysis, while the second research activity is testing the planting of bonanza corn varieties. The experiment used a completely randomized design (RAL) with 3 treatments and 6 replications, consisting of corn plants + LHS, corn plants + LBPE < 10 years and corn plants + LBPE > 10 years. The best acidity level is at LBPE < 10 years. The best planting medium is LPBE planting medium > 10 years.
